2023 Lignier-Michelot Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru

94-96 The fine healthy grapes permitted 100% whole bunches. More crimson than purple, with a bundle of fruit energy on the nose, more than the stems. Starts well then explodes further, strawberries and cream, on the softer side at the back of the palate, certainly living up well to its Charmes appellation. Drink from 2032-2038.
