2023 Georges Noëllat Chambolle-Musigny

90-93 From Les Condemennes. This was one place where the grapes didn’t swell up, but Maxime had to sort out some cooked berries. A lovely vivid purple, and while the bouquet is still finding its way, this works extremely well on the palate, with adequate acidity to bank up the sensual red fruit, good grip to finish. I don’t see the higher alcohol (13.8%). Drink from 2028-2033. Tasted Nov 2024. - Jasper Morris
