2023 Lignier-Michelot Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvee Bertin 1.5L Magnum

90-91 From Creux Brouillards, Seuvrées and Murots with 100% whole bunch vinification. A crimson edge to the purple colour. The nose is most welcoming, with rich strawberry fruit, evident on the nose, and following through almost decadently on the palate until the whole bunch spice restores some discipline. A lovely wine to enjoy in the relatively near future. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Nov 2024.- Jasper Morris
