2022 Darviot-Perrin Volnay 1er Cru La Gigotte Magnum - 1,5 lítra flaska

 90-93 A fine consistent purple but not as deep as the Bondues. Quite sturdy for Volnay at first sight, followed by a generosity of deep red fruit across the palate, and a stylish elegance of fruit right at the back. Long perfumed finish. Note that this is one of the more evidently ripe wines in the style of rich cherry fruit at the finish. Drink from 2028-2035. Tasted: October 2023.- Jasper Morris
