2022 Camille Giroud Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru

93-96 Carel Voorhuis notes the much-improved viticulture these days from this supplier, so quality fruit arrives. Mid crimson ruby with a gorgeous, sensual Charmes-ian nose. Plenty of stuffing here, a few tannins, just enough acidity, a rich strawberry fruit. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted: October 2023. -Jasper Morris
