2020 Lignier-Michelot Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Cuvee Jules

91-93 A blend of Chabiots, Chatelots and Sentiers, about one barrel of each. 100% whole bunch. Dark black with a alight purple rim. Something very lightly vegetal on the nose. A fine full mouthful, nicely balanced, blacker fruit up front, redder behind with a good thread of acidity. Not especially Chambolle, perhaps the Morey cellar speaking, but the qualities emerge very nicely at the finish. Tasted: December 2021.
