Half a hectare, planted mostly in the 1960s with a quarter from the 1990s. Mid lemon yellow, with orchard fruit on the nose. Clos Lavelle makes more of a statement than the previous wine. This is harmonious as well as exuberantly juicy, some plums now emerging, with well balanced acidity and excellent length. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Oct 2024. -Jasper Morris
