94-97 50% whole bunch vinification and 50% new wood, two out of four barrels. A lovely mid crimson purple. The whole bunches with their rose petal perfume create a stylish bouquet. All nicely integrated with the core deep fruit. White pepper at the back, while the power from the vineyard tries to take over from the elegance of the vinification. Together they combine in a very long finish. Potentially superb, with an aging potential believed by the immediate charm. Drink from 2032-2040+. Tasted: October 2023. - Jasper Morris
