94-97 Pale primrose colour. There is striking energy to the nose, a little bacon reduction, no new wood here, just 2 x 350 litre barrels, and then the expected massive power to the fruit on the palate. Concentrated white fruit but nothing heavy to finish. They feel that with this volume naturally in the fruit there is no need for new wood. Drink from 2030-2038. Tasted: October 2023. - Jasper Morris
