2022 Bachelet-Monnot Maranges 1er Cru Clos de La Boutiere Magnum - 1,5 lítra flaska

87-90 A slightly deeper denser colour. The nose has a nutty note suggesting a light oxidation of the sample. There is a good density to the fruit, the right balance of fruit/acidity/ tannin but the actual style of the fruit is a little mixed up at the moment. Scored as the sample tasted but I expect the final wine will be better. Drink from 2027-2031. Tasted: October 2023.  - Jasper Morris
