Einstakt vin úr goðsagnakenndum árgangi. Eins og venjulega hjá Francis Egly þá er þetta blanda úr 70% Pinot Noir og 30% Chardonnay af 40 ára gömlum vínvið í Ambonnay. 120 mánuðir á gerinu með 5 g/L.  Hámark 1 flaska á viðskiptavin.

Hinir kjaftforu vínnerðir hjá Noble Rot eru sannfærðir um að síðustu 3650 dagar hafi verið þeir bestu í sögunni fyrir vínáhugafólk og telja þetta vín með einu af vínum aldarinnar:

For many years, few took Champagne all that seriously. To this day, it remains the only wine that commentators routinely describe as "vinous", a needless qualifier in other regions. Perhaps that's why, until recently, the wine world exhibited a notable aberration: drinkers who gravitated to highly allocated domaine-bottled Burgundies often produced in the hundreds would begin their meals with Big Brand Champagnes produced in the millions and available in every gentrified supermarket and duty-free store in the world. In the last few years, that has changed decisively: at last, the best Grower Champagnes are more expensive on the secondary market than the elite prestige cuvées of the big houses. It's hard to say when exactly the shift took place, but Egly-Ouriet' Brut Grand Cru Millésime 2008 helped pave the way. It's the fruit of 30 years' perfectionism and patience by one of the region's most serious-minded producer and I was proud to award it 100/100 in the Wine Advocate, the first time a Grower Champagne of any kind had received a three-digit score.
