2022 Arlaud Clos de la Roche Grand Cru

Nafnið á þessari ekru er dregið af útnára kletts sem nær inn í ekruna sem er einnig nokkuð grítt og þykja vínin bera þess merki með því að vera steinefnarík og mikil að vöxtum eins og Bonnes Mares.

Í nefi má gjarnan greina fjólur.

5 Star Wine. 96-98. A glowing mid crimson purple. The bouquet is enchanting with the white pepper and rose petal lift from the whole bunches, a little under half. Perfectly judged ripeness. The wine is beautifully discreet on the palate, but it is all there. Not super concentrated but detailed, precise and entirely in balance. Note: one of the ways in which Cyprien ensures a first class result with his Clos de la Roche is by marking up underperforming vines and deselecting their fruit at the picking stage.
