2019 Izadi El Regalo

El Regalo is a new Viñedo Singular wine. 100% Tempranillo. DOCa. Rioja. Made with the utmost respect for the vineyard, this wine accurately captures the personality of our Finca El Regalo vineyard, planted with vines dating from 1940. A gift from nature.

Vineyard:
Single vineyard located at Villabuena. Planted in 1936 (registered in 1940). 3,85 has. Goblet training.

Grape varieties:
100% Tempranillo from single vineyard located at Villabuena planted in 1936.

Elaboration:
Harvested by hand in 15 kg crates. Fermentation in wooden vats.

Aging:
Aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels (Dargaud and Taransaud).

Tasting notes:
Intense ruby red color. Very complex nouse with layers of ripe dark fruit, smoke and toasted oak. On the palate the wine is very elegant, with soft tannins and a silky texture, with aromas of ripe fruit, herbs and toasted oak, leading to a long and elegant finish.
